About
Vishnu Lamba, known as the TreeMan of India, was born on 3 June 1987 in Lamba village, in Tonk district, Rajasthan. Our village is situated on the banks of the Banas River. Since childhood, I had an inclination towards plants, rivers, trees, animals, and birds. The stories of Ramayana and Mahabharata, heard in my childhood from my mother, Mrs. Sushila Devi, made my conscious spirit aware for social service. When, I did not feel like studying, my father sent me to Ramachandra Das Ji Maharaj of Balaji Temple for cultural education. Here, my mind became anxious to become a monk.

The Tree Man of India, Vishnu Lamba, has been raising his voice against environmentally harmful projects for a long time. Planting A Tree Everyday From 30 Years

Fed People By Running Kitchen During Covid-19 Pandemic
During a global human disaster like Corona, under the leadership of the Tree Man of India, Vishnu Lamba, kitchens were run at different locations with public participation, and arrangements were made for feeding a thousand people daily for two months. For this, the government issued a special permission letter for them, and Honorable MP of Jaipur City, Shri Ram Charan Bohra, and Central Minister Shri Rajyavardhan Rathore also honored them by giving a certificate.
River Conservation Campaign
The efforts of the Tree Man of India, Vishnu Lamba, are commendable not only in the field of environmental conservation but also in water conservation. Under his leadership, numerous efforts have been made to conserve rivers like Banas, Bandi, Shipra, Narmada, Masi, and Vishwamitri. He has particularly raised his voice against illegal mining in rivers. There have been several life-threatening attacks on him during such struggles, and attempts have also been made to trap him through conspiracies. But he is fearlessly continuing on the path of truth.
Freeing Forest Land From Land Mafias
Taking cognizance of the cases of encroachment at various places in the state by land mafias, large forest areas have been freed from mafias at various places due to the efforts of the Tree Man of India, Vishnu Lamba.
Meeting The President Pranab Mukherjee With The Family Of Revolutionaries of India (1857-1947)
Through the efforts of the Tree Man of India, Vishnu Lamba, the families of all the revolutionaries of India from 1857 to 1947 were searched for and introduced to the then President, Honorable Pranab Mukherjee. Through this, the effort to pay tribute to all the martyrs by planting trees at their birth and sacrifice places and to awaken the feeling of patriotism in the coming generation is continuously ongoing. Many dignitaries, including the then Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje, Shri Ashok Gehlot, Shri Prakash Singh Badal, and Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Om Birla, participated in this unique work.
13 Lakhs Tulsi Plants Distributed
The Tree Man of India, Vishnu Lamba, has so far planted 6.9 million plants and protected them through various means. They have distributed 11 lakh tulsi plants and 700,000 plants of various species for free and have saved more than 1.3 million large green trees from being cut by stopping environmentally harmful projects. Over the past 30 years, they have given the gift of one crore plants to humanity.
13 Lakh Trees Saved From Being Cut
Vishnu Lamba, the Tree Man of India, has run campaigns against environmentally harmful projects for a long time and has so far saved 1.3 million large green trees from being cut through various campaigns. By stopping environmentally harmful projects and struggling constitutionally, more than 1.3 million plants have been saved and now they are large green trees under the leadership of the Tree Man of India, Vishnu Lamba. Seeing Lama's struggles, many large projects have been relocated to barren land in various places.
Transformed The Notorious Dacoits of Chambal Beehad
In a remarkable innovation, the Tree Man of India, Vishnu Lamba, made contact with notorious dacoits who had surrendered in the ravines of Chambal for two consecutive years and connected them with various social concerns such as environmental conservation. This was the first amazing event in the history of India, which was discussed all over the world, and the notorious former dacoits took an oath of environmental conservation through a conference in Jaipur. Lamba believes that if the government cooperates wholeheartedly, not a single pebble will be lifted in the name of illegal mining in the Chambal region. Not a single ant will be killed in the name of illegal hunting, and not a single leaf will be cut in the name of cutting green trees. After this campaign under Lamba's leadership, a suggestion letter was also given to the central government.
The Brand Ambassador of Green Army
Looking at the significant efforts made at the grassroots level by the Tree Man of India and his dedication to environmental conservation, the Honorable Forest Minister of Maharashtra, Mr. Sudhir Mungantiwar, gave him the opportunity to serve as the brand ambassador of an ambitious plan like the Green Army. Through this scheme, Vishnu Lamba made countless people a part of the Green Army by going to various areas of Maharashtra state. Small saplings have been planted in the state, which have now taken the form of trees.
Planted 1 Crore Trees
Tree Man of India Vishnu Lamba has gifted 1 crore saplings to various states of the country including Rajasthan. This target was recently accomplished on 14 May 2023. On this achievement, many luminaries of the world including the sixth head of the United Nations Environment Program, Mr. Eric Solheim, gave their congratulatory messages and on this special occasion, Honorable Martin Maasland from Netherlands came to Jaipur and boosted the morale.
